Avarda Bank AB (publ) ("Avarda Bank") has mandated Nordea Bank Abp as Sole Bookrunner to explore the possibility of issuing Additional Tier 1 bonds with an expected amount of SEK 200 million (the "Bond Issue"). The Bond Issue is expected to occur in the near future, subject to market conditions. Net proceeds from the contemplated Bond Issue will be applied towards general corporate purposes, including the refinancing of Avarda Bank's outstanding SEK 100 million Additional Tier 1 Bonds with ISIN SE0017085244 (the "Existing Bonds").
Subject to the settlement of a successful Bond Issue, Avarda Bank further intends to exercise its right to give notice of early redemption of the Existing Bonds. Avarda Bank will announce such early redemption by way of a separate press release and by notice to the holders of the Existing Bonds.
