Archer is an American oil company. The company offers engineering services for the offshore sector, such as drilling solutions, construction and related construction materials for the construction of oil platforms. In addition, it offers leasing of fixed assets. The company was established in 2011 through a merger of the oil and gas companies Seawell and Allis-Chalmers-Energy. Archer operates globally with its largest presence in Europe, North and South America.
