Aker is an industrial group. The group is run through several subsidiaries, each with a business focus within the industrial sector. The business concept is to develop, manage and actively operate the holdings to create shareholder value. The majority of the holdings consist of companies operating in the oil and gas industry and offshore. Aker has a corporate history that originally dates back to 1841.
