Important addition to Kreate's order book

Kreate announced on Monday that it has signed a contract with the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency for the Mt 180 Kurkela–Kuusisto road project, valued at almost 80 MEUR. The project fits Kreate's profile well and, as it moves into the implementation phase, provides an important addition to the company's order book. In addition, due to the relatively fast execution compared to the project's scope, revenue will be generated rapidly from the project.

Kreate's core expertise

Kreate announced in its press release that it had won the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency's tender for the Mt 180 Kurkela–Kuusisto road project in Kaarina. It is a Design and Build contract (STk) including a development phase, with a value of almost 80 MEUR. The project includes approximately 3.5 kilometers of new road, improvements to existing roads, and the construction or improvement of nine bridges. The project includes both challenging structural engineering and transport infrastructure construction, which fits Kreate's profile well.

The project is progressing rapidly

The project's development phase begins immediately, and the entire contract sum is estimated to be recorded in the order book during the first quarter of 2026. Kreate's order book at the end of Q3'25 was 242 MEUR, so a pot of almost 80 MEUR is a significant addition to it. We believe the contract is the fourth largest in monetary terms among the company's order book and projects in the development phase.

Construction will begin in spring 2026 and the project is scheduled for completion by the end of October 2027. The project will thus generate approximately 40 MEUR in annual revenue, which excellently supports our forecast of rapid organic revenue growth, especially next year. The challenging nature of the project and its tight schedule create implementation risks, but Kreate's proven ability to manage demanding projects lowers the risk level. In addition, the project is located in a geographically compact area. The company can also transfer employees freed up from the Kirjalansalmi bridge construction project directly to the new contract.
