Yonsei Cancer Center expands use of RayStation

RAY BPressemeddelelse03.07.2026, 09.23

RaySearch Laboratories AB (publ) announces that Yonsei Cancer Center in South Korea has placed an additional order for the treatment planning system RayStation®*, further expanding the center’s use of RaySearch software across its advanced radiation therapy operations. The order was received in the second quarter of 2026.

Yonsei Cancer Center, part of Yonsei University Health System, has been a RaySearch customer for several years and utilizes RayStation for photon and carbon ion treatment planning, as well as RayCare for oncology information management. The center has played a pioneering role in the adoption of RaySearch solutions in the Asia-Pacific region, becoming the first clinic in the region to adopt RayCare and launch clinical operations with RayCare for carbon ion therapy in 2023.

The new order comprises additional RayStation licenses and modules that further expand Yonsei’s existing RaySearch environment, supporting increasing patient volumes and enabling efficient workflows across treatment planning and oncology information management in advanced radiation therapy. It also includes the recently launched LET optimization functionality, providing advanced capabilities for biological optimization in particle therapy.

“This expansion will support our continued focus on high-quality cancer care and help us deliver efficient treatment for a growing number of patients with complex treatment needs,” says Ik Jae Lee, Director, Yonsei Cancer Center.

“Yonsei is a long-standing leader in advanced radiation therapy, and we are pleased to support the center as it continues to expand its clinical operations and adopt increasingly advanced capabilities,” says Johan Löf, founder and CEO of RaySearch Laboratories.
