Volati signs new banking agreement with Nordea and SEB, with increased credit facility to continue strong acquired growth

Volati

Volati has signed a new banking agreement with Nordea and SEB, increasing its total credit to SEK 2,900 million. Under the agreement, Volati adds SEB as another partner bank, bringing greater flexibility and better conditions for growth through acquisitions. The agreement is beneficial to Volati, and the terms are in line with the previous agreement. The new agreement replaces the company’s previous credit agreement with Nordea.

The Volati Group currently consists of six platforms with clear business logic and a focus on value-creating add-on acquisitions. Since the IPO in 2016, Volati has achieved self-financed EBITA growth of 123 percent, while the company has distributed over SEK 1,800 million to shareholders during the same period. Six acquisitions were made in 2022, collectively adding over SEK 800 million in annual sales. It is Volati’s ambition to maintain a high acquisition rate, a journey that will be supported by the new banking agreement.

“We are pleased to have signed an agreement that gives us even better conditions to grow through acquisitions and maintain a high acquisition rate. We also welcome the opportunity to build a strong relationship with SEB alongside the long-term relationship we have with Nordea. The new agreement will support us in our overall goal of generating long-term value growth,” says Volati CFO Martin Aronsson.

The agreement consists of total credit facilities of SEK 2,900 million, comprising a loan facility of SEK 1,200 million, a revolving credit facility of SEK 1,400 million and an overdraft facility of SEK 300 million. The duration of the agreement is three years with two one-year extension options, giving a maximum duration of five years.
