Volati acquires Beslag Design AB
Volati has signed an agreement to acquire all shares in Beslag Design AB. The company is an add-on acquisition for Salix Group and the platform’s third acquisition in the last twelve months. Together with the existing business of Habo Gruppen, the acquisition brings an increased presence in the fittings market and creates synergies in several areas. Beslag Design reported annual sales of approximately SEK 190 million in 2023.
Beslag Design is a Swedish family company, founded in 1972 in Båstad. The company offers fittings and other interior details for both homes and public environments. The acquisition gives Salix Group access to a leading brand, while also broadening the product range. This strengthens Salix Group’s offering to its customers, creating the conditions for continued growth. The acquisition also enables synergies for the platform, including optimisation of the companies’ logistics flows.

The acquisition is Salix Group’s ninth acquisition since 2020, which have added a total of approximately SEK 1.3 billion in annual sales. Growth through acquisitions is an important part of Volati’s strategy to create long-term value growth. The ambition is to develop the Company’s businesses into larger and stronger platforms through organic growth, operational improvements and add-on acquisitions, both in the Nordic region and the rest of Europe. The acquisition of Beslag Design is Volati’s first add-on acquisition of 2024 and the seventh acquisition in the last 12 months, which have added a total of approximately SEK 810 million in annual sales.
The acquisition has been financed through Volati’s existing credit facilities with immediate access.
