Reference is made to the announcement by Prisjakt Group AB (publ) ("Prisjakt") on 16 September 2026, in which Prisjakt announced that its subsidiary Prisjakt Sverige AB intends shortly to bring legal proceedings against Google before the Patent and Market Court in Stockholm, claiming damages of approximately SEK 21.4 billion.
On 6 May 2025, Vend Marketplaces ASA ("Vend") sold Prisjakt Sverige AB to Prisjakt, a holding company controlled by eEquity. Under the share purchase agreement, Vend has certain contractual rights linked to the outcome of the proceedings.
Prisjakt's announcement states that the portion of the damages claimed that would ultimately be retained by Prisjakt Sverige AB, after deductions for agreed distributions and the costs of external litigation funding, will depend on the outcome of a judgment or settlement.
We note that every legal process carries an inherent uncertainty, and that the potential impact for Vend is dependent on a number of factors which are difficult to predict at this stage.
Vend will inform the market if and when material new information becomes available.
