Univid ASA (Univid, OSE: UNIV) reported a loss before tax of ~USD -1.3 million
in the first quarter of 2023, a decrease from ~USD -2.8 million in the
corresponding quarter of last year.
Subsequent to the first quarter of 2023 Univid ASA sold its foreign operating
entities, and completed a private placement of NOK 25.5 million. The sale of
discontinued operations will have a positive effect on the company's equity in
the second quarter of 2023 of ~USD 7.3 million, and the proceeds from the
private placement will also increase the equity.

and completed a private placement to improve its financial position and
facilitate new strategic initiatives. Moving forward the company will look to
partner with businesses that have innovative, sustainable, and scalable business
models", says Roger Lund, acting Managing Director.
In May the company changed its name to Univid, drawing inspiration from "uni,"
meaning "one", conveying a sense of unity, commitment, and shared dedication to
a common goal.
