<div class="abstract">Thomas Hietto takes up the role as the new Business Area President for Sweco Finland and joins Sweco AB's Executive Team effective 1 June 2023.</div>For the greater part of his career, Thomas Hietto has worked for the Kone Corporation in several senior positions and in different markets around the world. He has also been Deputy CEO of Caverion Corporation. Thomas Hietto holds an MSc in Industrial Management from Helsinki University of Technology (Aalto University), Finland as well as an MSc in Management from Stanford Graduate School of Business, USA.&nbsp;Thomas Hietto will succeed Markku Varis who is retiring after 30 successful years with Sweco. &nbsp;"I am pleased to present Thomas Hietto as the new Business Area President for Sweco Finland and to welcome him to the Group's Executive Team. Thomas has long and extensive experience in leading large international organisations and improving their performance in changing times and I am confident that he will ensure Sweco Finland's continued success.
