Summa Defence Plc's subsidiary IntLog Oy has been selected as supplier in a public procurement decision by the Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command regarding rescue containers for the use of the Finnish Defence Forces and several county rescue services. The total value of the procurement, including options, is approximately EUR 9.5 million. Of this amount, approximately EUR 2.5 million relates to the initial procurement volumes and approximately EUR 7.0 million relates to options.
The strategically significant procurement covers five rescue containers for the Finnish Defence Forces and seven rescue containers for county rescue services. In addition, the procurement decision includes an option for six further containers for the Finnish Defence Forces as well as equipment-related options for both the Finnish Defence Forces and county rescue services. Deliveries are scheduled to start in 2027. The containers are expected to be delivered by the end of 2028, and the options can be delivered by the end of 2029.
The procurement decision is subject to the statutory appeal period of 14 days, whereafter the agreements can be signed. In addition, one of the county rescue services covered by the procurement decision will make their own agreement with IntLog Oy.
The order will be booked in Summa Defence Plc's order book for the second quarter.
