Skanska has signed a contract with Garmin Jyväskylä Oy to build a business facility in Jyväskylä, Finland. The contract is worth EUR 29M, about SEK 310M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the second quarter 2026.
The project consists of a 8,500 square-meter business facility. The building will have the highest energy efficiency class. The façade and some of the building structures are made of wood. Solar panels will be installed on the rooftop to generate part of the electricity used by the property.
The construction will begin immediately, and it is expected to be completed in March 2028.
