Boman remains the board's chairman until the annual general meeting on March 22, 2024.</div>-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Today, I informed SCA's nomination committee that I intend to leave SCA's board in connection with next year's annual general meeting, says Pär Boman.SCA is Europe's largest private forest owner with holdings of 2.7 million hectares of forest in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. With the forest as its base, since 1929, SCA has invested in a well-developed value chain with sawmills, pulp and paper mills in the four Swedish Norrland counties. SCA is also a major actor in the renewable energy sector, delivering fossil-free energy in the form of bioenergy and renewable electricity. Over 20 per cent of Sweden's wind power is installed on SCA's land.
