Resignation of Group Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO)
Boozt, the leading Nordic Department Store, today announces that Group CSCO Sven Thiessen has submitted his resignation to the Board of Directors as he has accepted a new position outside of the Group. Sven Thiessen will stay on as Group CSCO until mid August this year.
Sven Thiessen joined Boozt in April 2022. Since then, he has successfully led a strenghtening of the fulfilment and distribution organisation building the right foundation to deliver continued accelerated market share gains and productivity improvements.
“At Boozt, I have been welcomed with open arms and been blessed to work with a fantastic team who has made it possible to make impactful changes in short time. I am leaving the company sooner than I had anticipated; however, the offer to become COO of a German based logistics start-up was a career opportunity that I could not pass up. Thankfully, Boozt is in great shape with a strong leadership team.” says Group CSCO Sven Thiessen.
Commenting on the resignation, Hermann Haraldsson, Co-Founder and CEO, says:
“Although we regret Sven’s decision to leave the company, Boozt is in a stronger position compared to a few years back. We have a solid operational foundation with ample capacity to support growth and further productivity gains supported by a strong leadership team that will continue the execution of the leading Nordic Department Store strategy. I am very confident that we can continue to build on the progress we have seen under Sven’s leadership.”
The Board of Directors will initiate a search process to find a replacement.
