Raute to transfer technical documentation operations of its Wood Processing business unit to Etteplan

Etteplan and Raute have agreed on an arrangement under which the technical documentation operations of Raute's Wood Processing business unit transfer to Etteplan through a business transfer as of May 1, 2026. As a result of the arrangement, Etteplan will assume responsibility for the maintenance and development of the technical documentation for Raute's Wood Processing business unit, utilizing a clear and predictable service model that also makes extensive use of artificial intelligence.

As part of the business transfer, two technical documentation specialists will transfer from Raute to Etteplan as existing employees. In addition, work related to Raute's technical instruction documentation and illustrations, previously carried out by an external subcontractor, will be transferred to Etteplan. Going forward, Etteplan will assume comprehensive responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the technical documentation for Raute's Wood Processing business unit, including related services and development work. The arrangement will be implemented in accordance with the Etteplan INFO service solution, under which Etteplan is responsible for technical communication and information management throughout the entire documentation lifecycle. Etteplan INFO utilizes artificial intelligence as part of its operating model, for example, to ensure the timeliness, quality, and compliance of content.
