Pryme halted its testing program at Pryme One
Pryme (the "Company") has halted its testing program this past weekend as a
result of a repeated loss of containment through the connection of the discharge
valve to the main body of the reactor despite the recent repairs and
improvements made to the reactor discharge valve assembly. This recurrence comes
after comparable issues were encountered in December 2025 and early February
this year.
Renewed evaluation and subsequent repair of the discharge valve assembly, to
restore full mechanical integrity, require the reactor to be cooled down. The
process of cooling down, evaluation of the root cause, implementing further
repairs and heating up again of the installation take their time and the Company
does not expect production to restart before the middle of April 2026. Pryme
will inform the market when the testing program is resumed.
