Nordic Private Clinic Expands Use with Additional NBS 6 System
Nexstim Plc ("Nexstim" or "Company") has received an order for one NBS 6 therapy system through a distributor in the Nordics. The end customer is a private clinic and existing Nexstim customer that is expanding its therapy offering by installing an additional NBS 6 system.
The customer utilizes Nexstim's navigated transcranial magnetic stimulation (nTMS) technology for the treatment of major depression and chronic neuropathic pain, which the NBS 6 is CE-marked for. The delivered configuration includes Nexstim’s non-disposable solution with re-usable head trackers, supporting increased sustainability, clinical efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
The NBS 6 leverages Nexstim’s proprietary SmartFocus® nTMS technology, which enables accurate and precise targeting of the stimulation area by visualizing the induced electric field in the brain. This supports personalized treatment delivery and reproducibility across therapy sessions, independent of device operator.
