M.O.B.A. Network Enhances Video Creator Services – Positioning for Growth and Stronger Margins

M.O.B.A. Network is actively evolving its strategy in response to changing user preferences and market dynamics, marking an important shift toward promising new growth areas, particularly within video and fintech. By rapidly adapting and prioritizing user- and creator-centric solutions, the company has identified significant opportunities to expand and diversify its revenue streams.
Union For Gamers, M.O.B.A. Network’s Multi-Channel Network (MCN) for video creators, faced volatility during 2023 and early 2024, experiencing a decrease in associated creators and significant fluctuations in views per creator. Additionally, declining revenue per view created challenging conditions for this segment. This volatility was felt broadly across the creator services landscape, with global macro-economic factors impacting consumer confidence and leading to knock-on effects across the industry, as well as a lull in trending video game releases reducing content creation opportunities among our existing creators.
In response, M.O.B.A. Network embarked on intensive development efforts during fall 2023 to strengthen its position in the video segment. A strategic partnership with Mediacube was established to revitalize Union For Gamers and enhance the overall offerings to creators. We are pleased to report that these efforts are now delivering positive results. The video segment has demonstrated consistent growth over the past three quarters with increased video views, overall watch time, and number of associated creators, validating our strategic approach.
A particularly encouraging development has been our investment in complementary services for creators, notably within fintech. By offering industry-leading payment solutions tailored to content creators, including more ways to withdraw earnings, get paid faster, and receive advance funding, we have significantly enhanced the value proposition for our creators, while also appealing to a wider user base and creating profitable new revenue streams. Fintech services offer attractive margins and considerable future potential.
Although challenges remain, M.O.B.A. Network is leveraging valuable lessons from the past year. With a clear emphasis on strategic partnerships and innovative business models that deliver enduring value to our creators, users, and shareholders.
