Medals in both the International Spirits Challenge and the Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition

Another medal haul for High Coast Distillery

It has recently been announced that High Coast Distillery has won medals in two international competitions. During the spring, both the International Spirits Challenge and the Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition have taken place and High Coast Distillery has been awarded medals in both competitions.

Origins is a series where we celebrate our origins, a proud tribute to the banks of the Ångermanälven, where the river meets the sea and the timber has been floated and processed for generations. We have taken the place, the history and the geography and created four whiskies that are all about this. Origins consists of Älv, Hav, Berg and Timmer and is available at Systembolaget in Sweden and selected markets around the world.

Silver in the Single Malt Whisky No Age Statement category: High Coast Älv Silver
Silver in the Single Malt Whisky No Age Statement category: Mountains 01 Multråberget Silver
Bronze in the Single Malt Whisky No Age Statement category: Cinco II Bronze

Medals in the Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition:
Gold medal: High Coast Berg
Silver medal: High Coast Timmer

About Us
The whisky from High Coast Distillery under the High Coast Whisky brand has been available since 2014. The Origins series with Berg, Älv, Timmer and Hav is already a big sellers among the premium brands. At the production and visitor facility in Bjärtrå, Sweden, whisky is produced seven days a week and more than 17,000 casks are maturing in the warehouses. High Coast Whisky is currently sold in about ten countries. The company's shares are traded on Nasdaq First North Growth Market. Turnover is about SEK 60 million excluding alcohol tax and the business employs about 25 people.
