Inhalation Sciences welcomes visiting scientist Jonah Dibbern from Kiel University

ISABPressemeddelelse25.08.2026, 10.45

Huddinge, Sweden - Inhalation Sciences (ISAB) today announced the completion of a successful visiting research stay by Jonah Dibbern, a licensed pharmacist and PhD candidate at Kiel University, at its laboratories in Huddinge, Sweden.

Dibbern is currently pursuing his doctoral studies at Kiel University in the research group of Prof. Dr. Regina Scherließ, a recognized leader in the field of inhalation science. During his time as a visiting scientist at ISAB, Dibbern worked on joint inhalation research projects developed collaboratively between Kiel University and Inhalation Sciences.

Kiel University is widely regarded as one of the highest-ranking academic centers within the inhalation science community, and this visit marks another step in the ongoing collaboration between the two institutions.

During his visit, Dibbern used ISAB's PreciseInhale® platform to dose capsule-based interactive powder formulations and conducted release testing using the DissolvIt® system.

Commenting on the visit, Jonah Dibbern says:

"I received a very warm welcome from the ISAB team. My visit was enriched by valuable discussions, joint project ideas, and new scientific insights. We used the PreciseInhale® platform to dose capsule-based interactive powder formulations, and I was particularly impressed by its versatility and flexibility. The release testing performed with the DissolvIt® system was both smooth and insightful, thanks to the team's excellent support and a well-designed workflow."

"Although the analytical data have not yet been collected, I am nevertheless convinced that, irrespective of the results, my visit was a complete success."

Manoush Masarrat, CEO of Inhalation Sciences, comments further:

"We're delighted to have hosted Jonah at our labs in Huddinge. Visits like this reflect the strength of the relationship between our two organizations, and we're looking forward to continued joint work with Kiel University as we push inhalation science forward together."
