Hafnia er et internationalt rederi med speciale i transport af olie- og kemikalieprodukter. Aktien startede oprindeligt med at handle i Norge på NOTC-markedspladsen for unoterede aktier i 2013. I 2019 blev Hafnia noteret på hovedmarkedet i Norge – Oslo Børs. Selskabet, der har hovedkontor i Singapore, opererer på produkttankmarkedet, hvor man administrerer 6 såkaldte pools - altså puljer af tankskibe, hvoraf nogle ejes af Hafnia selv imens andre ejes af eksterne parter. Herved opnås en række stordriftsfordele, og puljerne fordeler overskud/tab på alle skibe i puljen, imens Hafnia opkræver provision for drift af eksternt ejede tankskibe.

Hafnias 6 pools er kategoriseret efter fartøjsstørrelse/-type og afspejler den flåde af fartøjer Hafnia selv ejer. De 6 pools er: Handy Pool, MR Pool, LR Pool, LR2 Pool, Specialized Pool og Chemicals Pool. MR- og LR-puljerne er betydeligt større end Handy- og Specialized-puljerne med hensyn til omsætning og flådestørrelse. Hafnias puljer er primært aktive på spotmarkedet for produkttankskibe, men er også for nylig gået ind i markedet med kemikalietankskibe.

Derudover indkøber Hafnia bunkerbrændstoffet til sine partnere til konkurrencedygtige priser, som det modtager provision for.

Jeg går og overvejer at gå ind i Hafnia - trods den seneste tids gode kursstigninger. Lige nu kan den fås til 50-51 . og med rekord efter rekord den seneste tid i rederiet - og med oliesituation, tank, vinter og Putin i baghovedet, så får man næsten følelsen af “stille før storm”. Hafnia afholdte i mandags en præsentation af deres Q3 rapport for 2022. Her kunne vi bl.a. se, at det var den bedste kvartårlige regnskab nogensinde for virksomheden. Personligt synes jeg det mest spændende var deres nye politikker ift. udbytte, som bliver meget spændende at følge med i.

English:  Hafnia is an international shipping company that specializes in the transportation of oil and chemical products. It started trading in Norway on the NOTC marketplace for unlisted shares in 2013. In 2019 Hafnia was listed on the main market in Norway – Oslo Stock Exchange. The company, headquartered in Singapore, operates in the product tanker market, where it manages six pools combining self-owned and externally-owned vessels to benefit from economies of scale. The pools distribute profits/losses across all vessels in the pool, and Hafnia charges a commission for operating externally-owned tankers. Hafnia’s six pools are categorized by vessel size/type and reflect the fleet of vessels it owns. Its six pools are the: Handy Pool, MR Pool, LR Pool, LR2 Pool, Specialized Pool, and Chemicals Pool. The MR and LR pools are considerably larger than the Handy and Specialized pools in terms of revenue and fleet size. Hafnia’s pools are primarily active in the product tanker spot market but have also recently ramped up on chemical tankers. In addition, Hafnia procures the bunker fuel for its partners at competitive prices for which it receives a commission.
