GOODBYE KANSAS AWARDED VFX CONTRACT FOR ANTICIPATED CRIME DRAMA SECOND SEASON

Goodbye Kansas Group

Goodbye Kansas Group AB (publ) continues to strengthen its VFX portfolio with a repeat contract for the second season of a high-profile crime drama. The project marks a return to a successful franchise for the studio, following its acclaimed work on the series' first installment.

The production, a psychological thriller featuring a prominent international cast, has tapped Goodbye Kansas to provide specialized visual effects aimed at heightening the grit and realism of the story’s urban setting.

Securing the follow-up season to a previous project is a key indicator of client satisfaction and technical reliability. As Goodbye Kansas continues to build its VFX roster, this contract highlights the studio’s ability to maintain long-term partnerships with producers who prioritize high-fidelity, grounded visual storytelling.

Goodbye Kansas will be responsible for providing VFX &  technical support to ensure visceral realism without breaking the immersion of the drama.

"We are very proud to be asked back to work on the next season," says Paula Pope, Executive Producer at Goodbye Kansas. "It proves that our team didn't just deliver shots; we delivered a workflow and a creative partnership that the filmmakers trust. In a drama of this caliber, the VFX should be seamless, subtly supporting the story's grounded tone and gritty realism," she adds.

“This project represents the steady, strategic growth of Goodbye Kansas’ film and episodic TV division. In continuing to win solid prestige drama contracts, the studio is demonstrating its versatility and consistent momentum within the broader VFX industry”, says Thomas Lindgren, CEO of Goodbye Kansas Group.
