Crystal Dynamics and Amazon Game Studios reveal two new Tomb Raider titles – and other highlights from The Game Awards
During the night, at The Game Awards in Los Angeles, the annual event celebrating video game excellence, Crystal Dynamics, together with Amazon Game Studios, unveiled two new entries in the Tomb Raider franchise: Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, a modern reimagining of Lara Croft’s debut adventure, and Tomb Raider: Catalyst, the next major chapter in the series. In addition, Milestone’s new racing game Screamer was announced for release in March 2026.

With Legacy of Atlantis, we honor the origins of the franchise, while Catalyst represents a bold step forward. Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, launching in 2026, revisits Lara’s first adventure with modern visuals, updated gameplay design and expanded storytelling, while preserving the tone and spirit of the original. The game is developed by Crystal Dynamics in partnership with Flying Wild Hog.
Tomb Raider: Catalyst, set for release in 2027, takes Lara to northern India in the aftermath of a mythical cataclysm that has awakened ancient forces. Built in Unreal Engine 5, Catalyst becomes the series’ most expansive entry yet, exploring themes of trust, power and consequence.
Both titles will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam, and will feature Alix Wilton Regan as the voice of Lara Croft. More information and trailers are available at tombraider.com.

Screamer, the most iconic IP from Milestone, also unveiled its release date, planned for March 26, 2026, and the opening of digital pre-orders. The game is re-envisioned to deliver a brand-new arcade experience that blends innovative racing mechanics with fighting actions and a deep storyline set in a dystopian world. Additionally, Screamer presented its story trailer, offering fans a first look of its anime-style cutscenes that bring the game’s futuristic world and characters to life.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was nominated in multiple categories, including Game of the Year. While the title did not take home an award, the nominations underline the continued momentum behind the franchise. This follows important milestones shared in November, including the release of the third major DLC, Mysteria Ecclesiae, and the announcement that the game surpassed 4 million copies sold.
