Almanakka har skrevet om Harvia igen   Værdiansættelse: Harvia værdiansættes til ~16x det forventede driftsresultat (EBIT) for de næste 12 måneder. Efter min mening er dette tættere på et købsniveau end et salgsniveau. Hvis Harvia ikke allerede var den største position i min portefølje, ville jeg helt sikkert øge ved priser under fyrre. Aktien er stadig ikke ligefrem rørende billig, men for et kvalitetsselskab, der efter min overbevisning vil vokse strukturelt i lang tid endnu, er dette ikke en dårlig pris. Man bør også give noget kredit til Järnefelt, som i hvert fald har overbevist mig. Det skal dog bemærkes, at det også så godt ud ved roret i Harvia under Tapio Pajuharju, som efterfølgende lavede en total mavelanding i Kamux. En tilstrækkelig god virksomhed kan ledes af selv en skinkemad, men omvendt vil glansbilledet af selv en god ledelse hurtigt falme, hvis de leder en tilstrækkelig dårlig virksomhed. Det kan jeg ikke sige med sikkerhed, der kan godt være nogle rester af Thermasol-integrationen, men det er nok mere sandsynligt noget andet. Det er jo ingen hemmelighed, at Harvia løbende afsøger nye opkøbsmuligheder. I forbindelse med Q4-resultatet lød kommentaren i mine ører som om, at der snart kunne ske noget, så der kan sagtens have været en proces i gang. I forbindelse med Q1 kom det ikke frem på samme måde, selvom Matias (igen) sagde i vores interview, at de burde finde et opkøbsemne inden for infrarød-segmentet.  Jeg satte denne potentielle “fremrykkede efterspørgsel” på min spørgeliste i går, da jeg bemærkede @Black_Swan kommentar, men den blev desværre glemt under interviewet. Men det var jo faktisk det, de sagde. Det er måske værd at bemærke, at Harvia ikke med stor sikkerhed kan vide, hvilke tanker alle kunder gør sig bag deres ordrer, selvom de nok har en vis indsigt i de større kunders lagerbeholdninger. I sidste ende må vi se sidst på året, hvordan salget samlet set har klaret sig i løbet af året. Lad os håbe, at selskabet håndterer denne IT-fornyelse eksemplarisk; der findes jo eksempler på, at driften kan blive temmelig fastlåst i lang tid i sådanne processer.

Matias gennemgik effekterne af IT-opdateringerne i webcasten. Jeg citerer her direkte et par punkter fra webcast-transskriptionen. Matias: "Now, this is quite a significant piece of work for us, and it will have an impact on our deliveries during Quarter Two. It will include such things as actually ramping down production for a temporary period of time in Muurame, transforming the systems from the old to new, and then ramping the production up. And because of this, we estimate that there will be roughly €3 to €5 million worth of shipments shifting from Q2 to Q3. And this will, of course, move also the related gross margin from quarter two to quarter three. And as we will be working long hours, there will not be savings in, for example, employee costs, as direct labor will still be present and involved in these transitions and ramp-ups. So we also expect that there’s going to be some impact on the OpEx level as well during the quarter. Now. However, this is very well planned. The customers have been informed in advance. We have confidence that we will not be losing any sales. So while this would have a negative impact on our quarter two, it should have a clear positive impact on our quarter three. And in addition to having the sales back in the quarter three, we believe that this transition to the more modern, efficient, and scalable system will start to pay back rather soon." Andet spørgsmål i Q&A: "Was there anything in Q1 revenue that would not occur again later in the year? Or was everything just driven by robust normal demand? " Matias Järnefelt: "There’s nothing particular to mention. I think one question might be that since we informed the customers about the longer lead times during Q2, whether that has turned into what I would call advanced buying. But as we’ve been analyzing that, our assessment is that that didn’t have any significant impact on our Q1 results. The impact will be seen in quarter two and quarter three, and hopefully we will be able to catch up fully by the end of quarter three. Of course, that remains to be seen, but we feel fairly confident about that." Kort opsummeret på dansk: De har analyseret situationen og konstateret, at der ikke har været nogen væsentlig effekt i 1. kvartal. Effekterne af IT-fornyelsen vil kunne ses i 2. og 3. kvartal. Leverancer for anslået 3-5 millioner euro flyttes således fra 2. kvartal til 3. kvartal. Dette vil også kunne ses i resultatet for 2. kvartal, da man er nødt til midlertidigt at køre produktionen ned, mens omkostningssiden ikke er fleksibel.
