Tekova is a construction company in Finland, specializing in the construction of business premises, offices, logistics, production and sports facilities. The projects are tailored to the needs of the customers. The regional companies include Tekova Länsi-Suomi Oy in Tampere and Tekova Pohjois-Suomi Oy in Kempele. Tekova was founded in 2018 and has its headquarters in Vantaa.

@Atte_Jortikka @Frans-Mikael_Rostedt A hypothetical question about a matter I’ve occasionally pondered since Tekova’s IPO; If you were the main owners of Tekova and Toivo today (with stakes of 36.56%/66.25%), would you push for merging the companies or keep them as separate listed companies? It would be nice to hear arguments in both directions. It’s not my intention to put words in your mouth, but could a merged company generate more risk-adjusted shareholder value through, for example, scale, potential synergies, and appeal to an institutional investor base?

This is the second project that Tekova is carrying out for the same client on the plot. In the first development phase of the plot, Tekova built production and commercial premises for Fixus and Mekonomen, which were completed in 2025. The contract is part of a package of projects agreed upon during Q2/2026, which Tekova announced in July. By the way, yesterday there was a flagging notification from Tekova where Regional Director Hugo Koivukoski’s shareholding in the company fell below the 5% flagging threshold. At some point during the day, a large block trade of approximately 500k shares had moved.

Excellent point, and that metric could justifiably be lowered to 2/5. I don’t see any room for the multiples to decline; rather the opposite, as I tried to explain in the report. On the other hand, I consider a certain discount relative to peers to be quite justified, even if the current discount is rather steep.
