LapWall operates in the building products industry with several factories. The company manufactures wooden wall and ceiling elements in factory conditions for construction companies. The product range includes several standard products that are delivered and installed by the customer. The company's market area is Finland. LapWall was founded in 2011 and its headquarters are located in Pyhäntä, Finland.

This certainly offers sales opportunities for Lapwall as well. It remains to be seen what solutions Google will end up with - but Lapwall’s products are certainly a quite relevant option, especially since there are already references from similar projects. I would see that the company’s recent share price rise has been driven by other reasons. The company’s share price didn’t actually react to the news today, but on the other hand, the daily trading volume is the second highest in a couple of months (only on the earnings report day was it significantly higher). Perhaps some investors have been taking profits backed by the increased trading volume?

Google announced 13 billion euro investments in data centers and energy in Finland, and the stock market saw lively action as Fortum was up +14%, GRK +7%, Enersense +6%, and UPM +5%. But what about Lapwall? So far the share price hasn’t reacted, opening down -0.6% for the day. Data centers are coming right to Lapwall’s “home turf” in Northern Ostrobothnia and Kainuu, so as a local player, its competitiveness should be extremely good. Are these opportunities already priced into the recently well-performing share price, or is it time for a re-pricing?

LapWall at FinnBuild on September 29 – October 1, 2026 – Welcome to Booth 6p48 I figured I’d share the news here as well that LapWall will be participating in the FinnBuild 2026 trade fair at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre (Helsingin Messukeskus). FinnBuild is Finland’s largest construction and building services event in terms of participating companies, visitor numbers, and exhibition floor space. This year’s program will heavily feature topics such as construction productivity, artificial intelligence, the energy transition, the circular economy, and construction site management. LapWall will be there with its familiar, eye-catching red trade fair house. At booth 6p48, we will be showcasing productized solutions for professional construction: warm and cold roof elements, hall and exterior wall elements, facade and load-bearing wall elements, as well as intermediate floor elements. One of the key new innovations is a hall wall element that is up to 4.5 meters high, which reduces joints and speeds up installation. When this wall solution is combined with highly prefabricated roof elements, the building envelope can be quickly protected from the weather, allowing subsequent work phases to begin under controlled conditions. The trade fair house nicely embodies LapWall’s strategic direction: more ready-made from the factory, fewer work phases on-site, and increased speed, quality, and predictability in construction. FinnBuild is an important meeting place for us. Its value lies not only in visibility, but above all in direct discussions with customers, designers, developers, partners, owners, and those interested in the company. Here is a short video of LapWall’s new Pyhäntä factory:               The ramp-up of the factory’s production is still ongoing, but in my opinion, the video gives a good idea of what kind of entity has been built in Pyhäntä and what the goal of this investment is. As I wrote yesterday, our next key task is to scale demand to match the new capacity.
