Here are Joni’s comments on Vincit’s change negotiations. Vincit announced on Wednesday that it is initiating change negotiations in Finland to adapt its organizational structure to the AI transformation and to adjust its headcount to the prevailing market situation. The news is fully in line with our previous expectations, as we had estimated in connection with the February Q4 report that the company would have to reduce its headcount during the current year. The estimated reduction need of a maximum of 45 people corresponds well with the reduction estimate of approximately 40 employees already included in our forecasts, and thus the news does not cause changes to our forecasts. The change negotiations concern billable personnel in Vincit’s service business across all Finnish locations, covering approximately 375 employees. The headcount reduction need is estimated to be a maximum of 45 people. The change negotiations will begin on March 9, 2026, and are expected to last for three weeks. Vincit will communicate openly with its employees about the situation throughout the negotiation process and will report on the outcome once the negotiations have concluded. During the early part of the year, Vincit’s organizational structure has already been streamlined by 10 people in management, sales, and business support roles.

Well, the head of the Data & AI unit and member of the extended management team Vakkilainen has left the company. Was this already announced previously, i.e., was it known that the employment would be ending?

Here is a company report on Vincit from Joni following the Q4 results  We reiterate our Reduce recommendation and EUR 1.35 target price for the stock. Vincit’s revenue continued to decline sharply in Q4, as expected. However, efficiency measures took effect slightly better than expected and earnings slightly exceeded our expectations. The company only provided guidance for improved profitability, and thus uncertainty regarding a revenue turnaround remains. This keeps the risk of an efficiency spiral on the surface and the stock’s risk-reward ratio unfavorable. Accepting a higher valuation would require better visibility into a sustainable earnings turnaround.
