On Monday, Envar announced the first signed game from the new Publishing division of the business. Today, Envar is proud to announce another signed agreement for the second game.
"Sometimes you're lucky enough to work with a team that not only knows their craft, but is also an excellent partner to collaborate with," says Liam O'Neill, Head of Games at Envar. "A couple of years ago I was fortunate to have the opportunity to collaborate with Joel from Clifftop Games and Petter from Faravid Interactive. When the chance to make something new together popped up, there was no hesitation."
The game, which is still unannounced and goes under the codename "Hera," is a Survival Horror game with a classic aesthetic and a modern twist. Players can expect a gripping narrative written by two veterans with a solid background in game development.
With the addition of "Hera", Envar now officially has four titles in active development, two internally at Envar Games, and two in collaboration with external developers via Envar Publishing.
"It's important for us not to put all our eggs in one basket," says Atey Ghailan, CEO of the Envar Group. "We are actively building a place where the businesses create synergies and can support one another, and we apply the same philosophy to the portfolio of games we're building - we are strongest together."
