DexTech Medical AB hereby issues a correction to the English-language version of the press release published earlier today, 27 October 2026.

Due to an administrative error, the body text of the English-language press release was published in Swedish instead of English. The headline was correctly published in English.

The correct English-language version of the press release is provided below. No changes have been made to the information disclosed in the original press release.

The Clinical Study Report (CSR) has been completed and the preliminary results previously announced have been confirmed. This means that no serious adverse events (SAEs) have been noted and that all patients transitioned from progressive disease to stable disease during treatment. More than 70% of the patients maintained their stable, non-progressive disease even after treatment was completed, up to 30 weeks (mean 25.1 weeks). The patients did not receive any other anti-cancer treatment during the follow-up period. Analysis of biomarkers shows that markers for bone cells decreased significantly during treatment and that myeloma markers were relatively unchanged. No abnormal values regarding the heart, liver and kidneys have been noted.

The results verify the ODX mechanism of action (MOA), that ODX treatment modifies the tumor cells' microenvironment in the skeleton, thereby slowing down/hindering continued growth and stabilizing the disease.  The mechanism is unique to ODX and also has applications for other cancers with bone involvement, such as late-stage breast cancer. The very good safety profile opens up great opportunities for combination treatments without adding additional toxicity.

The study has been conducted at Karolinska University Hospital Huddinge and at Uddevalla Hospital. The treatment lasted for a total of 14 weeks with 2 doses per month. Three dose levels of OsteoDex (ODX) have been studied, 3mg/kg body weight, 6mg/kg, and 9mg/kg. Principal Investigator (PI) is Dr Katarina Uttervall, MD, PhD, Department of Hematology/HERM, Karolinska University Hospital Huddinge. Dr Dorota Knut is Principal Investigator at the Department of Hematology, Uddevalla Hospital. Analysis of biomarkers takes place at the Central Laboratory, Karolinska University Hospital Solna, NKS. Adult myeloma patients with progressive treatment-resistant disease, who have previously received 1-5 previous lines of treatment. Eleven (11) patients were included in the study. The primary objective is to confirm ODX's safety and tolerability and with a secondary objective to demonstrate indications of treatment response.

"We can confidently present strong data to our stakeholders in the perspective of study data, unique MOA and strengthened patent protection," says CEO Anders R Holmberg.

DexTech Medical AB is a Swedish research company that, based on its proprietary technology platform, has developed four patented drug candidates.

The company's lead candidate is OsteoDex for the treatment of castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) with bone metastases. A phase II clinical study with OsteoDex has been conducted with positive results regarding tolerability and treatment efficacy in patients who no longer respond to existing drugs.

OsteoDex has also been evaluated in a clinical phase I/IIa study in multiple myeloma with positive results.

DexTech's goal is to out-license its drug candidates to commercial partners for continued development and market introduction.
