We have lowered our earnings forecasts for Alisa Pankki for the coming years, as we believe the recent news flow points to a still slowly progressing growth turnaround. As a result, we are lowering our target price to EUR 0.16 (previously EUR 0.22) and reiterating our reduce recommendation. According to the RVV’s recent report, the potential bankruptcy of Alisa Pankki, Suomen Hypoteekkiyhdistys, and Ålandsbanken would not jeopardize the stability of the financial system or the operation of key banking services. For this reason, the operations of these banks could be wound down in a crisis situation through liquidation proceedings or they could be declared bankrupt. The assessment is based on the fact that the operations of these banks are not so extensive or interconnected with the rest of the financial system. Therefore, their collapse would not cause significant disruptions.

I made a sell request myself on February 6th. The funds haven’t arrived in my account yet. My spouse made a request at the end of January, and the money arrived about three weeks later. The order form did state that they aim to return the money within a month of the request. I still have a few days left until that deadline. If the sell order has already been placed, Alisa Bank should have no right to charge service fees. The fact that they would charge a high service fee for an activity (payday loan investing) that hasn’t actually been operational for years is another matter entirely. Perhaps it’s even something the Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanssivalvonta) should focus its attention on.

On 29.1 I made a sell request and on 5.2 the 8€ that had been left in the portfolio at some point was in my OP account.

By the way, does anyone have experience with that selling process? I made a sell request at the beginning of the month, but I haven’t heard anything, and that expensive fee is due to go through tomorrow, even though I’ve been trying to get rid of the account.
