MapsPeople is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company focusing on digital mapping for indoor navigation. The two primary revenue streams are 1) MapsIndoors which is MapsPeople’s own developed mapping solution for indoor navigation 2) Google Maps partnership with Google. MapsIndoors is the key segment with high double-digit growth rates, and the Google Maps segment is expected to be a more steady business going forward.

MapsPeople has a global presence with offices in Denmark, Germany, Singapore and United States, and customers include some of the largest brands in the world. The company has been listed at Nasdaq First North Premier in Denmark since June 2021.

MapsPeople var i går ude med 2023 guidance på både Contracted ARR og ARR, som selskabet nu guider på. Efter 2022 blev afsluttet med en Contracted ARR på DKK 70,1 mio. (71% vækst) forventer MapsPeople i 2023 en Contracted ARR på mellem DKK 105-115 mio. (forventet vækst på 50-64%) og ARR (defineret som 12 gange månedlig faktureret tilbagevendende omsætning) på mellem DKK 77-87 mio. (forventet vækst på 129-159%). Mapspeople har gang i opsamlingen af nye partnerskaber i USA, der skal understøtte virksomhedens ambitioner om at blive endnu større inden for konferencer og events i det store USA. OrderYOYO is a Danish Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company that provides takeaway restaurants with all the necessary software to serve their customers, including online ordering, payment, marketing and business management solutions. The software enables restaurants, primarily within takeaway, to have their own-branded online presence direct to consumers instead of via food portals.

In 2022, OrderYOYO merged with German app smart. Going forward, Germany is an important growth market for OrderYOYO. OrderYOYO has a usage-based business model implying that the company grows with its restaurant partners. The company has been listed at Nasdaq First North in Denmark since July 2021.

OrderYOYO aflagde i sidste uge en trading update for Q3 2022, hvor de nyligt opjusterede forventninger til 2022 blev understøttet af en ARR-vækst på 25% YoY samt meldinger om, at fusionen med app smart fortsat udvikler sig positivt, og det kombinerede selskab har taget markedsandele trods svære markedsbetingelser. OrderYOYO har også øget fokus på profitabilitet med et positivt EBITDA før andre eksterne omkostninger på DKK 1,9 mio. i Q3 2022. Penneo was established in Denmark in 2014, and the company has more than 3,000 customers across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Belgium. Penneo is listed on Nasdaq Copenhagen Main Market.

Our HCA SaaS Index ended December 2024 with a median ARR multiple of 3.6x (3.4x by the end of November 2024), while The SaaS Capital Index covering the US/global SaaS market ended December 2024 with a median ARR multiple of 7.0x (from 7.3x by the end of November 2024). Looking at share price returns across the Danish SaaS sector, the developments have been mixed in 2024. Excluding the delistings in 2024, the current 11 listed companies in the Danish SaaS sector provided a median and average return of approx. 3.5% and approx. 25% in 2024, respectively. 
In December 2024, the US SaaS sector welcomed a new IPO, as ServiceTitan started trading after a successful IPO. Each ServiceTitan share was offered at USD 71.00 per share, and the ServiceTitan share trades at approx. USD 100, corresponding to approx. 40% above the offer price.
