Net sales and EBIT were slightly below consensus (LSEG) in Q2. Relative profitability remained good but net sales declined even by 20% in Q2 y/y driven by weak customer demand and continuing destocking effect. An expansion in Sieradz factory has been postponed to Q3 2026 due to weak market. But full year guidance was intact and Scanfil expects some improvement in Q4 2024. We forecast market consensus EBIT for the full year 2024 to be downgraded by EUR 1m (2%) after Q2 earnings release.
