Here is a company report from Rauli following Oriola’s Q4 results.  Oriola’s Q4 and this year’s guidance were in line with our expectations regarding its own operations, and we made no significant forecast changes. We are still expecting plans from the spring Capital Markets Day to clarify the group structure (especially the sale of Kronans) and to strengthen the equity ratio. We see potential for value unlocking in the company and upgrade our recommendation to Accumulate (prev. Reduce). We adjust our target price to EUR 1.2 (prev. EUR 1.25). Of course the ERP isn’t ready yet, as it was stated at the beginning of 2024 that the project would last until 2027. However, it was mentioned on the call that it hasn’t been decided yet whether the old system will be used first in the new distribution center to be built in Finland in '26-27, which in my opinion doesn’t make much sense or logic given the stated schedule. Of course, both a new distribution center and a new ERP are major transitions and operational challenges, which is why doing both at once could be too challenging, considering that the last ERP update brought all Finnish operations to a standstill. I agree that the content of many of the company’s comments was indeed not very concrete.

NOT LIKE THIS! That was some tough reading, as the whole report was pure bullshit bingo. The dividend was halved, and Kronans is still a complete farce. The ERP project apparently takes forever and has failed completely; AI was also mentioned in the report, because well, I don’t know why, and apparently the company doesn’t know either.  In expert services, we have identified business opportunities in utilizing AI-based tools to improve our services, for example in the areas of commercial data and pharmaceutical information.  It’s really nice that opportunities have been identified, but do you intend to actually do something about it? That remains a mystery for now. What does this sentence even mean?  Throughout the year, we strengthened customer-centricity, which is a key strategic focus after the implementation of our new operating model.  or this one, where they’re babbling something about working  We also introduced new digital and AI-based tools that improved work and productivity.  or this sentence, which is missing any mention of profitability:  Our investments are reflected in improved NPS results, especially in customer feedback regarding product range and quality.  The ERP project is still not finished, and apparently it never will be, as it still hasn’t been brought to the finish line and the project has only “progressed”, whatever that means.  Our strategic investment in the renewal of Oriola’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) and warehouse management system (WMS) progressed during the year.  In my opinion, it makes no sense for the company to organize a Capital Markets Day if the CEO isn’t fired before then.
