Consti operates in the construction industry. The company specializes in solutions that involve renovation, installation, procurement, and major restructuring work, from commercial premises to residential buildings. Operations are held on a global level, with the largest presence in the Nordic market. Customers consist of small and medium-sized corporate customers and private actors.

Here are Kaisa’s and Atte’s quick comments on Consti’s Q4 results.  Consti’s Q4 result was overall in line with our expectations. Revenue slightly exceeded our estimates, while the result was in line with our expectations. In contrast, Consti’s order backlog decreased compared to the comparison period, although it remains at a moderate level. The Board’s dividend proposal, for its part, fully met our expectations. Guidance for the current year suggests that the result level will remain practically unchanged (2026e: EUR 10.9 million) and reflects a still cautious market outlook. The spike coincides perfectly with the Kauppalehti article. In a small company, news like this can trigger sharp rises.

Consti indeed announced in November that it had been selected as the project’s implementer, and yesterday the company signed a spearhead project alliance agreement with the client for the project. Consti’s share of the project, upon implementation, is significant (171 MEUR, total cost estimate 195 MEUR), and approximately 112 MEUR of the project will already be recorded in the order backlog for the first quarter of this year. The project as a whole represents about 9% of our revenue forecast for the years 2026–2030. I will review our forecasts again in connection with the company’s Q4 report.

It must have been a surprise for the market too, because after the previous news, the share price didn’t move in either direction for two months.

At least for me, it came as a surprise how large Consti’s share of the project is.

Let’s keep in mind, however, that this Senate deal was already announced in a separate stock exchange release over two months ago. So, there shouldn’t be any particularly relevant new information for anyone in yesterday’s press release regarding the signing of the contract… although the exact amount of Consti’s contract was specified there.
