Cereno Scientific has strengthened CS1’s commercial positioning with a third Canadian patent, extending protection in a strategically important pharmaceutical market.

The patent, granted within CS1’s third patent family, covers delayed-release formulations of valproic acid and their therapeutic uses. The grant further reinforces CS1’s extensive IP estate across key pharmaceutical markets, including the US, Europe, Japan, Canada, India, South Korea, Australia and Brazil.

We believe this robust patent portfolio enhances CS1’s attractiveness in partnering discussions while supporting long-term commercial exclusivity.

CS1 is currently protected through 2035–37, with additional filings and potential patent term extensions that could extend exclusivity in PAH to 2045–46, further strengthening the asset’s strategic and commercial value.
