Here are Thomas’s comments on the management change at KH-Koneet.  On Friday, KH Group announced the appointment of Tuomas Myllynen as the CEO of KH-Koneet. The appointment follows a process initiated last autumn, when the company’s long-standing CEO and co-founder, Teppo Sakari, announced he would be stepping down during 2026. Myllynen joins the company from his role as Country Manager at Cramo and will start by the beginning of August at the latest. In our view, Myllynen’s background makes him a strong successor to Sakari, and his experience in equipment rental supports KH-Koneet’s growth strategy. Based on the CV, it seems like a really good choice, but it’s naturally impossible to say how the chemistry works with the KH Koneet team and what the focus of management will be in the coming years. In any case, KH Group’s news flow has now turned positive. There has been good news regarding the Indoor divestment, the market situation for KH Koneet and NRG, and the new leader of KH Koneet. Good news feeds good news and vice versa. The cycle now seems to have been broken.

I think it’s a good and appropriate choice. I’m satisfied and even somewhat relieved!

As a result, we adjusted our sum-of-the-parts calculation downwards. We still see clear value in the parts relative to the low current price, but it is realistic to expect value unwinding to occur only when the target markets for Indoor and KH-Koneet Group start to recover from their downturn.
