TECH: Techstep recommended as sole supplier for Norwegian Government mobile devices framework agreement

TECHRegulatory press release01.09.2026, 12.08
Techstep Norway AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Techstep ASA, has been
recommended for award as the sole supplier in the procurement process for the
Norwegian Government Framework Agreement for Mobile Devices, conducted by the
Norwegian Agency for Public and Financial Management (DFØ).

The award decision is subject to a mandatory 10-day standstill period. The
contract may be signed after the standstill period, provided that no
circumstances arise that affect the award decision.

The framework agreement covers the supply of mobile phones, tablets, accessories
and related lifecycle services to central government entities covered by the
agreement. Techstep has been recommended as the sole supplier under the
framework agreement, which has an expected duration of four years and an
estimated value of approximately NOK 800 million over the agreement period. The
stated value is an estimate and does not represent a committed purchase volume
or guaranteed revenue for Techstep. Through the agreement, Techstep will support
government organisations with efficient procurement, responsible device
management and extended device lifecycles.

The procurement supports the Norwegian Government's objectives for sustainable
and circular procurement, with requirements and services related to reuse,
repair, lifetime extension and responsible management of mobile devices.

"We are proud to have been recommended as the sole supplier for this important
framework agreement. The recommendation reflects the strength of our offering
and Techstep's position as a leading European mobile and circular technology
partner. We look forward to supporting Norwegian government organisations with
modern, sustainable and cost-efficient mobile solutions throughout the device
lifecycle," says Morten Meier, CEO of Techstep ASA.
