<div class="abstract">Sweco has signed an agreement to acquire Volantis, a Dutch company specialising in engineering and architectural services for the industry and healthcare sectors. The acquisition adds some 150 consultants to Sweco Netherland's team of 2,200 architects, engineers and other experts, thereby strengthening its geographical footprint and sector experience.&nbsp;</div>Volantis Groep B.V. serves both private and public clients with a primary focus on the healthcare sector, including hospitals, care organisations and healthcare service providers, but also on industrial clients within areas such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and manufacturing. In 2024, Volantis received an <a href="https://fd.nl/bedrijfsleven/1536968/dit-zijn-alle-fd-gazellen-van-2024">FD Gazellen award</a> from Netherland's leading financial newspaper, recognising it as one of the top-performing and fastest-growing businesses in the country.&nbsp; "We are pleased to welcome the consultants from Volantis to Sweco, as we see a strong fit in our shared strategic focus on advising clients in sustainability, circularity and the energy transition, and on supporting clients in the healthcare and industrial sectors specifically.
