Today is the first day of trading in Cessatech, a Danish company active in the pharmaceutical industry. It is the twelth company, and the sixth in the healthcare sector, to become listed on Spotlight Stock Market this year.
Cessatech specializes in research and development of analgesic nasal spray that is used to treat children's acute pain conditions.
Jes Trygved, CEO Cessatech says "We are all very excited about this big day - I think only people involved in an IPO have an idea of how much work it really requires, but we did a good job, and today is a big celebration day. Due to COVID19 we are not able to meet and celebrate but we will postpone this a bit. We had an incredible interest in our company, and we are grateful for this. At the same time we would like to welcome our new shareholders, we are looking forward to working for them."
The company is run globally but is largest in the Nordic market.
Cessatech's offer was subscribed for a total of about DKK 107 million, corresponding to a subscription rate of 680%.
