Spinnova Appoints New Chief Commercial Officer Material technology company Spinnova has appointed Mikko Lassila as Chief Commercial Officer and a member of the Management Team. He joins Spinnova from UPM-Kymmene, where Lassila has worked in leading sales and business development roles. Lassila will start at Spinnova by 15 April 2026 at the latest. The ecosystem is indeed growing, but it’s crying out for investors. I would have thought that one of these would have also brought money to the table.

On the brand side, the consortium building indeed seems to be progressing quite nicely, even though no particularly strong commitments have been mentioned in the press releases. Hopefully, by February at the latest, we will receive more information about the overall picture, as well as progress in reducing technology investment and production costs. Next year will, in any case, be very important for the formation of Spinnova’s investor story.
