SCA is today publishing the company's annual report for the year 2024.
Thanks to a combination of a competitive industrial operation and high self-sufficiency in wood raw material, energy, and logistics, SCA has managed to maintain a stable EBITDA margin of 35,3 percent in a challenging global market.
Previously executed strategic investments in growing segments, such as renewable packaging paper, pulp production, and biofuels, have continued to be fine-tuned during the year to generate even greater benefits when the economy turns upward.
SCA delivered a climate benefit of 12.3 million tons of CO₂ equivalents during the year, and the company has contributed to an international collaboration to create a new global ISO standard for calculating climate benefits from forests and bio-based products.
The annual report is available at www.sca.com. Printed copies of the report will be distributed to shareholders and other stakeholders starting April 2, 2025.
The annual report is published in accordance with the reporting requirements of the European Single Electronic Format (ESEF). In compliance with ESEF requirements, the financial statements have been tagged with XBRL. The ESEF files can be downloaded at www.sca.com.
