Hi, Optomed confirmed via message that Kinra is an AI-generated setup, as was suspected here. The company needs to consider whether it’s worth pursuing the matter to get these taken down. It causes costs and effort, after all, and the setup can just move to a new location under a new name. It’s unfortunate, but I guess it’s just part of life these days.

In this age of AI, you can get sites like those up and running with roughly a single prompt. Even though they’re crude and you can tell immediately that they’re AI nonsense, you can trust digital information less and less these days.

I’ll forward those at least questionable links to Optomed’s management. If they are real, they’ve been handled quite sloppily, but the internet is full of all kinds of things.

I wonder if @Juha_Kinnunen can help us with this matter. He likely has a direct line to Optomed🤔

It was to be expected that that email is not working. I’m wondering about that contact form where you have to enter your own contact details. I wonder if they are fishing for the contact information of well-off doctors for potential fraud or something similar? The whole thing is so strange that I don’t believe Optomed has anything to do with this. @Mr_Stock, I can’t say where it should be reported and what the possibilities would be to fix the matter.
