Nordic Mining is a Norwegian mining company focused on the exploration and extraction of industrial materials and metals. The majority of the products are delivered to a diverse group of players in various industries, with the main market in the Nordic region. The company was established in 2006 as a spin-off from RockSource, where the previous mining operations were outsourced. Nordic Mining is headquartered in Oslo.

is there any owner/ex-owner still involved/following the company here? I myself sold my position at a loss when the lawsuits were prominent. well, I am ready to get hurt again! The contemplation or question in the case is: Will the state/permit grantor win the legal dispute and NOM be allowed to dump the rocks/mining “waste” into the fjord (this was opposed and a Norwegian court ruled that it should not be allowed)? The final decision should be announced in April-May (?). Will there be further dilution of the stock? The cash situation has been somewhat patched up with recent share issues. So, I would consider the company interesting if:  The placement of mining waste receives legal blessing There is no further dilution Mining operations start as planned (there have apparently been some delays)  I would love to hear others’ thoughts on the company; somehow this weekend I went through my own “failures” and NOM came to mind, but at its best, the company’s story is just beginning… or ending, of course

I wouldn’t have believed I’d see 9 NOK prices at this stage of the company’s lifecycle.

The operations at the mine continues as planned. "We made the case that the environmental impact of the sea deposit is low. This conclusion is based on numerous independent reports and surveys. We are pleased that the court followed the science and not the NGOs’ principled rejection of sea deposits.”

In the Q3 presentation, we heard explanation after explanation. Iwatani, Orion, and Barton have been hired to solve the problems, and an attempt is being made to get the first routine shipment transported by the end of March. Costs have increased, and even less goods have been sold compared to the previous quarter. Things are going badly. Something will come of this eventually, but the leaders seem to be completely lost, like…

This company’s communication and the management’s understanding seem to have turned into a complete joke. In the Q2 release, it was still stated that everything was proceeding according to plan and that funds would be sufficient well into next year. A month later, everything is delayed by half a year, and more money is needed to pay off debts. Throughout the year, a completely different picture has been painted than where we are now. It’s infuriating, but this is that Nordic Mining quality. And now I can only blame myself for believing everything.

Rutile production volumes will continue to be low due to problems well into next year. So more money is needed. The only good points in the news are that they will receive expert assistance from Iwatani and Barton Group, and with this new financing, the financial situation is secured for a while. The stock price will probably be down tomorrow. I am now taking a wait-and-see approach and will wait until the ramp-up is complete before making further purchases. The last time, after the court case, I reduced my position to a minimum.
