The purchase price is approximately NOK 822 million, and the company has a turnover of DKK 1,000 million and an EBIT of DKK 66 million. Kitron gains a broad customer base and a strong foothold in the Danish market.

As a result, they have to lower next year’s forecast. This is in addition to the previously reported raw material/component shortage.

" So, revenue dropped quite significantly compared to last year, as did EBIT. “Record order backlog  The order backlog ended at NOK 2 568 million, compared to 1 863 million last year. This is a record and reflects a strong total demand situation but also includes revenue delays due to the component shortage. The order backlog increased within all market sectors. In absolute numbers, the order backlog grew the most within Electrification and Defense/Aerospace, while the percentage growth was particularly strong within Connectivity.” There would be plenty of orders (38% more compared to the previous year), but raw material and component shortages are eroding the pace. The hope is that the situation will ease next year. I’ve been following the company recently without owning shares, as potential issues with raw materials and components were known.

Authorization for a directed share issue in connection with a possible acquisition? I think inorganic growth was also part of their strategy.

I suspect the reason for the dip is the company’s possibility of issuing shares, the value of which would be a maximum of NOK 1.79 million. At the current share price, this would mean approximately 90,000 new shares. Edit. tools.eurolandir.com              Kitron: Electrification and Industry sectors drive revenue growth                              Q1 Results Published  Revenue was NOK 938 million, +7% compared to Q1 last year  EBIT 7% and Q1 2020 6.7%  EPS 0.24 and Q1 2020 0.23 Strong growth in the industrial and energy sectors, but the aviation side has been quieter. The outlook for this year remains unchanged, with revenue of NOK 3900-4200 million and EBIT of 6.8-7.4%. Sounds pretty good to my ears, and there were no surprises. Kitron is also affected by raw material shortages, but apparently it doesn’t significantly affect production. Edit: I believe the market will react to the results neutrally or slightly negatively, as there were no groundbreaking results.
