Gothenburg, Sweden - February 7, 2024 - Irisity AB (publ), a leading provider of AI-driven video data management software, in collaboration with SYM Servicios Integrales, announces the launch of an innovative emergency operations center in Mexico. The new site is called C5 SITEC which provides centralized statewide security, intelligence and is the technology center of operations for Michoacán.
Designed and deployed by SYM, a Mexico City-based company specializing in safe and smart city solutions, C5 SITEC Michoacán features over 10,000 deployed cameras, connecting 12 regional centers to an advanced C5 state fusion center powered by AI technology.

To enhance response efficiency and real-time situational awareness, SYM chose Irisity to provide AI and machine learning technology. This partnership, initiated through an agreement made in April 2023, was driven by Irisity software's integration capabilities and precise AI analytics that deliver high situational awareness. This makes Irisity's IRIS+™ AI Open Platform ideal for comprehensive public safety projects.

Irisity's IRIS+™ AI open platform software enhances first responder efficiency through real-time video analytics, provides advanced forensic investigation capabilities, delivers comprehensive operational intelligence, and significantly improves response times by augmenting human decisions. SYM integrated Irisity's IRIS+™ AI open platform with CityShob's C-Insights Software and Hanwha Vision cameras. Currently, 150 cameras utilize Irisity's advanced AI, with the potential for expansion.

With the introduction of C5 SITEC, Michoacán takes the lead in Mexico in adopting advanced technology to safeguard its residents and businesses. During a private event marking the center's launch, SYM Servicios Integrales CEO Niv Yarimi expressed gratitude, emphasizing Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla's visionary support of innovation.
