HANZA inaugurates new factory in Årjäng – Defense Minister Pål Jonson attended
HANZA today inaugurated a new production facility in Årjäng, Sweden, which strengthens the company's local manufacturing capacity and opens up additional capacity targeted at the defense and security industry. Sweden's Minister of Defense, Pål Jonson, attended the inauguration and emphasized the importance of a strong and reliable Swedish industrial base in the new European security situation.
“The global situation places increased demands on local and complete industrial capacity. Through our regional clusters, we can offer manufacturing close to the customer, with short lead times and high technical expertise. This strengthens both our customers and our competitiveness,” says Erik Stenfors, CEO of HANZA.
The new facility is part of HANZA's long-term expansion plan and increases capacity within the regional manufacturing cluster in Sweden.
“The new facility gives us better flows, increased capacity, and the ability to handle more technically advanced assignments. This creates good conditions for continued growth in Årjäng,” says Ola Svensson, Site Manager for HANZA Mechanics Årjäng.
The inauguration takes place on the same day that HANZA presented its year-end report for 2025, in which the company reported its strongest quarter to date with 10 percent organic growth and an operating margin of 9.0 percent, an increase from 7.1 percent in the corresponding period in 2024.
