The application has been filed with the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) and is now under review.</strong></p></div><div class="mfn-body"><p>MiCA aims to establish a harmonised regulatory framework for crypto-asset services across the EU. The regulation strengthens consumer and investor protection, market integrity, and financial stability. Licensed entities must meet extensive requirements regarding customer protection, risk management, custody of clients’ crypto-assets, and corporate governance.
