EYEON GROUP AB (publ): Full Focus on Ongoing Acquisition Process
As communicated in the Year-End Report 2024, published on February 17, 2025, the goal is to complete a potential acquisition of a Swedish SaaS company in the IT security sector in early March. The company's focus is therefore fully directed towards the ongoing acquisition process, and for this reason, the board has decided to postpone the February monthly report, which is normally communicated to the market at the beginning of the following month.
On January 25, 2025, it was announced that EyeonGroup had signed a Letter of Intent with a Swedish SaaS company in IT security, with the intention of carrying out an acquisition. Since then, the company has been intensely focused on the ongoing due diligence process. Work is progressing with the aim of completing the process in early March. The target company has a strong brand and has received awards in the Cyber Security segment. In recent years, it has demonstrated strong growth, with an increase of 340% from 2022 to 2024. Together with the company's approximately 225,000 end users, Eyeon Group's total customer base will exceed half a million, further strengthening its position in the insurance industry.
Due to the ongoing acquisition focus, the board convened an extraordinary general meeting on January 30, 2025, to increase the capital limits in the company's articles of association and grant the board the authority to decide on a new share issue. This is to create the best conditions for the board to act quickly and efficiently in potential acquisition transactions.
