Here are Aapeli’s quick comments on the results.  Enersense released its Q4 report this morning. The operational earnings performance of the company’s core businesses fell slightly short of our expectations, while the reported result dropped deep into the red due to negative one-off items. Due to the numerous negative one-offs, interpreting the figures still requires more detailed analysis. A positive aspect of the report was that the company had progressed faster than targeted in the implementation of the Value Uplift program and simultaneously raised the program’s overall target. The earnings guidance range provided for the current year was, on the other hand, roughly in line with our forecasts. There were no major surprises in the market outlook, and we believe the demand situation can be expected to continue as a whole at least moderately well. Enersense announced this morning that it has agreed with the energy company Helen on an extension of the operation and maintenance agreement for the years 2027–2028. Enersense has been responsible for the operation and maintenance of Helen’s district heating and cooling production and distribution since 2022. The newly signed two-year extension agreement was included as an option in the original contract. The value of the agreement is over EUR 30 million, and it will be recorded in the Energy Transition business unit’s Q1’26 order backlog. Here are Aapeli’s comments on how Enersense’s financing arrangement received approval.  Enersense announced on Thursday that its bondholders’ meeting has approved the company’s proposal to amend the terms of its convertible bond. The decision was expected and also enables the realization of the company’s broader financing package. In addition, Enersense announced after the market close that it would also carry out the previously communicated issuance of an additional tranche. Overall, the arrangements strengthen the company’s balance sheet and secure financing for the coming years. The investor day interview revealed the share of services in core businesses for 2024 (40%), as well as the service revenue amount of ~134M. (What I asked above) I’m interested to see what the figures will be in 2025 and 2026, both percentage-wise and in terms of service revenue. The share of services was followed by an * mark and a clarification regarding which services it concerned. The company’s service offering is likely to expand soon.

Enersense will build the fibre connections and medium- and low-voltage power transmission lines required for the new data centre near Riga.</strong></em></p></div><div class="mfn-body"><p>Enersense has entered into a construction work agreement with a Latvian state-owned energy company AS Latvenergo for the development of a fibre connection to a new large-scale data centre currently under construction in Salaspils, near Riga.</p><p>The agreement covers the construction of the fibre infrastructure required for the facility.</p><p>Earlier in January, Enersense signed a construction agreement with the Latvian electricity distribution system operator AS Sadales Tīkls for the development of new medium- and low-voltage power transmission lines to the same data centre.</p><p>The main scope of work includes the construction of a 3.5 km medium-voltage transmission line and a 2.0 km fibre connection, as well as the installation of disconnectors and switchgear equipment.</p><p><strong>Building on successful data centre projects in Finland</strong></p><p>Enersense has previously delivered data connectivity solutions and district heat recovery systems for data centres in Finland.</p><p>“This project represents an important step for Enersense in Latvia, as it marks our entry into data centre infrastructure projects.
