Endúr ASA: New head of Endúr Maritime appointed

Endúr
4 July 2023 - Endúr ASA's wholly owned subsidiary Endúr Maritime has appointed
Leiv Helge Klævold as its managing director.

Endúr Maritime is a supplier of technical ship maintenance, including
inspections, service, repairs, upgrades and modifications.

Leiv Helge Klævold has close to 30 years' experience from the maritime and
offshore industries. He joins from a role as head of industrial services
supplier Veltec's Norwegian operation. Klævold also has experience from multiple
managerial positions in Siemens and ABB, supporting both the marine, offshore
energy and offshore wind industries. He holds a master's degree in managerial
economics plus an undergraduate degree in power engineering.
"Leiv Helge has broad experience from our core industries as well as adjacent
segments where we see growth opportunities. He brings valuable business
development expertise and a track-record of successfully building and growing
businesses," says Britt Mjellem, chair of Endúr Maritime's board of directors.
Leiv Helge Klævold starts in his CEO role on 1 September 2023, at which point
Britt Mjellem will resume her original role as chairperson of Endúr Maritime.

Mjellem has since October 2021 held an executive chairperson role (Norwegian:
"arbeidende styreleder"), with Jonny Arefjord as managing director. Arefjord
will remain with Endúr Maritime in a newly created role as chief operating
officer (COO).

Endúr Maritime's operational and financial performance has developed favourably
during 2022 and 2023. For example, the company delivered revenue in the first
quarter of 2023 that was 59 percent higher than the same period in 2022, as a
result of improving market condition and a high hit rate on tender activities.
The company's EBITDA margin in the first quarter of 2023 was 9.3 percent, which
is 2.1 percentage points higher than the same period in 2022.
"Britt and Jonny have done an excellent job in leading and developing Endúr
Maritime during the past 20 months. I am therefore delighted that they will
continue to play important roles for Endúr Maritime going forward. Britt, Jonny
and Leiv Helge will constitute a highly resourceful triangle, which allows
optimal utilisation of their respective capabilities and areas of interests,"
says Jeppe Raaholt, CEO of Endúr ASA.
